Horror master is teaming up with Codemasters to scare the bejeezus out of gamers. Clive Barker’s Undying was a critical hit when it arrived for PCs in 2001. Now it looks like the director/ author/ professional creepy guy is ready to get back into games, as he has apparently struck a deal with Codemasters to develop a new mature-themed game for next-generation consoles and PCs. |

Barker was drawn by a videogame’s potential to allow the player to explore many paths in a story, rather than the one path viewers experience in a book or movie. Titled "Clive Barker’s Jericho", the game unfolds in an elaborate quest to reach the innermost sanctum of a place called — wait for it — Jericho, where evil incarnate is hanging out. The player is part of a Special Forces squad trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts. "There are things in my imagination which I think can only be paintings, things that can only be books, and this thing has to be a game," Barker said. "Is there a movie in it later? Sure. But what it has to be is what it’s going to be first, an absolutely killer game." For the rest of this news go Here –> Link |

Where is my Gaming NIC? Video and audio card manufacturers have long known that to make a difference in PC performance you need to offload processing from the CPU. The more your processor can do, the more you can frag. The more you can frag, the more you can win. Gamers need a NIC that will ease their CPU’s burden so that their processor can focus on the railgun in their sweaty virtual hands in the game, not the network overhead. Gamers need a NIC that will give them the edge. The Birth of the Killer – Gaming network traffc patterns were analyzed, game networking code studied, and a Killer was born. Powered by Lag and Latency Reduction (LLR) Technology, the Killer Network Interface Card is your weapon in the quest to be the best. |

Think your PC dominates on games? Killer will make it perform even better. Happy with your Ping? Killer will make it even lower. LLR’s patent-pending UltimatePing™ and MaxFPS™ features lets you kill more by lowering the computer’s ping to its’ ultimate level and by increasing your Frames Per Second (FPS) while playing games online. | By Peter Kirn July 15, 2006 Multi-instrumentalists, Line6 must have you in mind. The equipment maker, known primarily for their guitar products, has plunked a keyboard on their multi-effects box / audio interface hybrid, TonePort. There are plenty of reasons to like the TonePort line: a broad approach to effects that caters to vocalists as well as guitarists, and cheaply-priced but good-sounding effects, in an interface with excellent low-latency performance. (Not to mention retro-looking VU meters, and they’re not just eye candy — they’re assignable.) |

Not everyone will need a keyboard in the same unit, but if you do, it’s nice to see a real mod wheel, an always-on octave LED (as opposed to most keyboards, which require us to guess which octave we left them in), and handy knobs, transport controls, and foot pedal integration. Deep software integration and a dedicated headphone port could make these a nice addition to a laptop rig. More Product Info Here –> Link |

|
| In the early 19th century a group of elite scientists formed around brilliant mathematician Jarvis Babbit. Together they formed a secret society dedicated to seeking out parallel worlds, worlds of which our ancestors had only the vaguest of ideas and whose very existence had never been proven. After decades of study Babbit finally does manage to uncover the secrets of the dimension gates. A mechanical computer of his own design allows him to calculate both where and when a dimension gate between the worlds will open. And so did Babbit and his followers discover the ParaWorld, a world of warlike tribes, awe-inspiring dinosaurs and other terrifying primeval creatures. | |
|
The new-found ability to travel between the worlds gives members of this secret society possibilities hitherto unknown: governed by an entirely different set of natural laws, ParaWorld affects them much as the fabled fountain of youth. These scientists age no more. Yet three young scientists stumble onto the secret: hot-tempered geologist Anthony Cole, nature-loving biologist Stina Holmlund and the somewhat introverted physics genius Béla Andràs Benedek. All three have come across evidence pointing to the existence of a parallel world in the course of their research. A perifdious trick allows Babbit to lure the three young scientists into a trap which leaves them stranded on ParaWorld. ill-equipped, they have nothing but one weapon capable of guaranteeing their survival – their own power of reason. … the clock is ticking … Check out Official website here–>Link |
