| Duke Nukem Forever – Forever being the operative word here since this game has been way overdue.
Ok I don’t make it a habit of posting Trailers promoting Vaporware. But I decided to make an exception. I played the original Game when it first came out and had a lot of fun back in the day. However, this game has been in limbo for years going through different engine revisions among other problems. I have pretty much given up on it for along time now. |
But I won’t lie – if and when this game comes out I’ll probably try it out mostly to see if it was worth the long ass wait. Time will tell. This teaser Video shows promise but who know if it’s just another marketing ploy to keep the Duke Nukem name fresh on our minds or perhaps they are closer to actually releasing this dahm thing already. For now I say it’s all Marketing. Until then enjoy this video – it may be a long while before we see any thing else. Check out official website here –>Link |

By the New Oxford American Dictionary definition, "prototype" means a "first model of something, especially a machine, from which other forms are developed or copied." In Prototype the game, that description applies in a biological sense to the main character, Alex Mercer. He begins the game awakening on a New York street with a serious case of amnesia, and soon figures out that he definitely is not a normal human anymore. |
He’s become a shape-shifting doppelganger with a dark side. Alex needs to kill to fuel his powers by absorbing his victim. This isn’t a tale that aims to evoke sympathy for a hero trapped in a tragic plight either. Alex tears into the populous with seemingly wanton disregard for humanity. From what we saw at a recent press event, Prototype will be one seriously violent game. With his hands morphed into razor sharp talons, Alex slaughtered people like a demonic butcher, viciously impaling them, dismembering them, and ripping their throats out. And the game revels in it all, pulling the camera in close for dramatic effect during these killing blows. The absorption process is equally gruesome with the corpses then turning into writing vein-like tendrils of gore before being sucked up. Agent Smith from The Matrix almost seems tame by comparison.
