EA announces dates for a PS3 and Xbox 360 playable demo of its new hellish romp.

Now that Thanksgiving is out of the way, we can all set our sights on the upcoming seasonal holiday in December. And what better way to enter into the spirit of charity to others, wellbeing and all that guff than with a taste of EA’s hellish action game Dante’s Inferno. A demo for the PlayStation 3 will hit the PSN on December 10th while Xbox 360 players have to hang on until December 24th. Dante’s Inferno takes gamers on a quest through hell, in an action-packed adaptation of part one of Dante Alighieri’s epic poem, The Divine Comedy. The ‘Gates of Hell’ demo includes the entire opening level and gives gamers a taste of the terrifying odyssey to come in the Nine Circles of Hell as depicted in the full game.
